					Constructed as a neighbour to the Balearic Island University (UIB), it provides an completely integrated production environment with the natural environment, surrounded by vegetation and water, which without a doubt contributes to the well being to those who work there. A few kilometres from Palma and very close to Valldemossa, the village where Chopin lived out his last years of live, shows that it is possible to conceive a perfect combination between the environment and research technology. The access to the area is very easy as from the Via Cintura (road that circles around the city of Palma) one can reach the road to Valledemossa, one of the most well known and busiest on the island and from there to ParcBIT. The park opens it's doors via a road which runs from one extreme to another, allowing one to have a global vision of it's installations.

	The Balearic Park of Innovation and Technology, ParcBIT, is situated in one of the most impressive places of the Mediterranean Sea: the Island of Mallorca. In addition, in it, one of the most precious areas has been chosen for its location: at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains.
